1991 Submariner 16610 replacement bracelet question

I own a 1991 Submariner 16610 that is in great shape but I think the bracelet is starting to get loose. Three questions:
1. Though the bracelet seems somewhat stretched out to me, when is it time to replace the bracelet?
2. How much does Rolex charge to replace the bracelet?
3. Am I better off going to a Rolex dealer and having them replace the bracelet?

Take a pic from the side holding the head and letting the band dangle freely so we can see how it is...?

Personally, I'll be sending my bracelet to Michael Young (http://www.classicwatchrepair.com/) before paying out the nose for a new one from Rolex.

It does look like it's had some significant wear over the years, nothing wrong with that.
Take a look at the website I posted and do a Michael young search here. You'll see you 99% happy results. He has a method of tightening the band. It'll only cost a couple hundred bucks and a few weeks. Rolex will probably want around $1,200, but that's a guess.

My 16613 was worse than that and Micheal Young did an incredible job repairing it!

I asked about a bracelet replacement for my sub and my AD told me 1,400 and you would have to send in the old bracelet to rolex. They only exchange parts , you can't just buy the bracelet without sending in a old one

I sent Michael Young an email an for my bracelet based on your recommendation. It is very expensive in Los Angeles to repair Rolex bracelet. While I go thru the process to restore the bracelet I purchased a NATO band for $12 on eBay. Life will go on for the Submariner.
