I've passed people on this forum to my dealer before. They know the prices are legit. Again......relationships. The only AP short of a concept that I couldn't get a big discount on, was the 15202. That one was like 15-20% and I am on a wait list for that one. Probably won't get it for at least a year. Maybe when the next racing edition comes out, probably that one too since the typically go up in value and are extremely hard to get.

If it isn't limited (as in 1 of x), it's not hard to get deals.
Some watches with very limited production numbers, like the 15407, would be pretty hard to get at any discount level. Heck, I was offered premium for my used 15407 while the 15202 is widely available @ list at multiple grey dealers.

It's probably lack of experience of that AD.
lol It's not. The AD is a single person. He is the boss.

Lol. I'd hate to post what I got my new RG for. You'd have a heart attack.

Whatever it is; I've seen cheaper.

I still doubt the 20% (or even 1%) figure on the 15407.

Does anyone else not like it when their AD let's someone else fondle their watch before they've had a chance to pick it up? If I saw evidence of fondling on one of my watches, I'd refuse to buy it.

Same with cars. Don't go on a test drive with a car I preordered, paid for, and am coming in to pick up soon.

Someone touching and holding my watch wouldn't bother me as long as all of the stickers were still intact and there were no scratches.

On the car part, I totally agree. If I ordered a car and put a deposit down, I'd expect no one to test drive it. Car should have like 10 miles on the odometer at the most which is about your standard delivery mileage for new cars.

I'm obsessed as well. I called all the boutiques after seeing this watch. They are sold out for 2 years. Wouldn't even put me on a list. Some only put clients who have spent 800k in their boutiques on the list.
Such a drag. I had no idea it was this popular when I picked it out of the catalog. I'm worried I won't be satisfied if I "settle" for another model. Although if it's truly going to take years to get one, I could enjoy another AP while waiting. The Perpetual Calendar is beautiful but was a distant 2nd on my AP dream list behind the 15407st. I just hope they continue to produce the 15407st in years to come.

I feel your pain. I'm based in the States, but I was bitten by the bug while I was in Asia, and managed to leave a deposit with the AP Boutique in Taiwan. If I recall, most of the other boutiques around Asia were also no longer willing to take deposits. Are you based in the States? Beverly Hills gave me a "you gotta be kidding" look when I asked about the watch

I'm a fondler, but also respectful enough not to put another man's watch on my wrist without his permission. I did ask the nice saleslady at the boutique to let me try on a similar-sized watch (she pulled out the 15400 boutique blue... beautiful piece!).

PM me. I can wait until next year.

It doesn't help that I visited an AP Boutique who told me "yes! It's your lucky day!" Lucky that they had one to show me, but unlucky because that example was already paid for. Now that I've fondled it there's no going back. I have to find one (from an authorized dealer, hopefully)!

Anyone have any good leads in the Taiwan or Hong Kong areas?

I really understand you

What's a good deal on a rose 15407 these days?
