Love Subs from all eras. Worn most models from 50's to current. All have their own magic and appeal. These days wearing the 6 digit versions. Really like the bracelet and maxi dial/hands. I probably prefer the 4 and 5 digit cases, but once I wore a 6 digit for a few months, I moved most of my vintage pieces. Just more practical for me at this time.

I've been beating my 16610 for about seven years now. It works in all situations, IMO, and is as tough as they come. The aluminum bezel is tough, but if it breaks is about 10% of the cost of a ceramic (mine still looks perfect). I've never really wished I had a glidelock, but if I did it could be added for about a grand.
good luck

I love my 114060. I love the classic ND look, and it is pretty tough as well.

I crashed my motorcycle the other day and my Sub seemed to hit the ground first. Tiny scratch on the sapphire, I polished it out the best I could with some diamond paste, and she is still running within spec.

Someone told me to leave the scratch because it tells a story. I kind of agree.

Either piece will be perfect. I love mine, I wear it everyday.
