watch movements and Brands.

movements from third parties that watch manufacturers buy. Take for example a Seiko movement n35 let's say, now Seiko sells the movements two different manufacturers is the movement itself already preassembled Seiko or do the manufacturers that buy it assemble it into thier waches.

The same holds true with Swiss brands like say the Swatch group and so on how exactly can you buy a watch that has movement that say is about $3,000 and then sell another watch with basically the same movement for 5-600.

Movements are sold to manufacturers in various forms and levels of completeness.

Generally, the movement (ebauche) is complete except for decoration, such as a branded rotor or plate stampings.

Seiko and Miyota are major suppliers of movements to Japanese watchmakers.

In the case of NH35...this engine is used in watches ranging in prices from 100 to 1000 so i guess most of the money goes to case and so on not the movement
