I think it's a perfect continuation of a thread started a couple of days ago about how Rolex advertising no longer seems to match the product. What use is a yacht racing timer to a tennis player?

Good point. Actually, some of the new Rolex ads did seem strangely odd to me, and now that you've pointed this out, I know why. Perhaps they're convinced that no one would actually use the solid gold Yachmaster II as a racing timer. Still, you're absolutely right, it's just an odd juxtaposition.
