36mm Explorer dial/hands replacement question
Hey guys,
I own an Explorer 14270, cal.3000, tritium dial. Was thinking about replacing the dial with a luminova one, along with matching luminova hands. Are there any issues with the fitting of the dial and hands if I do find luminova ones? Say... dial and hands for the later 114270 with a 3130 movement? Will the newer hands and dials fit into my older 14270? Just wanting to make sure before I start to source them. |

@brand c
The 14270 is quietly becoming quite collectible. I would seriously advise you to keep it as-is, just like it left the factory. If youre truly convinced that you need a Luminova dial and handset, Id sell your 14270 and purchase a 114270. Instagram: @onthedial |

Thanks for the insights. Yeah I've noticed the the price has been creeping up slowly among dealers, same goes the the Exp II. I love my 14270 and would never part with it haha. Just want a spare luminova dial and hands just in case my tritium flakes or something. The dial from a 114270 should fit without any problems right? |
