Icon14 Vanessa Just Finished My "Triple Red" YM 16622, WOW!!!

When you want someone to service your Rollies, but don't want to wait months on in, then Vanessa at Jewelers On Time in Newport Beach is the person for you. Many TRF peeps have used her with excellent results, my experience was no different.

She completely serviced a D Serial YM, Ref.16622, added a red date-wheel and viola, my "triple-red" YM was born, lol. I went with a 16622 mainly because the platinum dial & bezel has way more sparkle than the newer 116622, giving up the vastly improved clasp, etc.

Gonna pick up this beauty on Monday and let the pictures do the talking. Again, thanks a million Kenny & Vanessa for making one of my grails a reality!!

Thanks for looking,

Maarten

Cool!
Do the brushed parts look OEM? To my eye, in these pics, the brushed parts look a little more "grainy" or rough/ uneven than OEM. Would love to see more pics!

I’ll find out Monday JCATT and see, but knowing Vanessa, it’s the lighting of the pics!

It's just the lightning, I'm pretty sure Vanessa will polish/brush after Rolex's specs. It looks fine to me.

I, too, would love to see more pics once you receive it. I don't think Vanessa's pics are doing the polish job any favors. The brushed parts look too shiny for my taste. Hopefully, just a quirk of her pics.
