I still can see it. Is it on the crystal or the bezel? If it's a very light "scuff" I can see it but only with my glasses on and zooming in!

Thats really weird, have you thought about a magic eraser at least? Maybe that can help with the exterior and make water and soap easier to work with.

Isopropyl alcohol shouldn't damage the bezel. You don't need to scrub it. Just try a dab on a paper towel and wipe.
