A lot of people here have G-Shocks. They are great watches.

I had a G-shock as my first good quality 'real' watch ten years ago...lost it somehow but I loved it so much, bought another one lately and I love this one equally...very good and comfortable the new smaller G-shocks are :)...good choice Julio :)

I love Casios. I've got a bunch. All exept the middle three in the top row and the Seiko on its side in the middle are Casios.
They all have mutiple time zones, date, chrono, alarms, stopwatch, and memory to store names and phone numbers. This is my favorite. In addition to all of the above, it's radio controlled from Ft. Collins, CO. so it's always spot on accurate.

I respect Casio's hugely. Quite possibly the ultimate tool watch. I have three. Two bought in 1989 with a seven year battery life & only last week has one died.
The other is a solar watch & I have done so much manual labour wearing that & it's still going. It's been covered in paint, bashed with hammers/bricks. I've plastered walls wearing it & all it has are a few scratches (once I've now cleaned all the paint off it). Incredible. Casio's are the best watch in the world IMO. BUT, they don't grab my heart. I feel strangley content wearing my YM or AP, but don't have any real emotional feeling for my Casio's.
