Hi

I have a Rolex Daytona that has a damaged oscillating wheel, I wanted to find out that if I take it into a Rolex AD will they just replace the oscillating weight or will they make me get the full service? Just want to know what I'm getting into before I get into it :). Any help is much appreciated!

I'm pretty confident it will require a full service to make certain there is no ancillary damage. No sense in having just the weight replaced if there could be other problems.

It's pretty hard to actually damage the rotor. Usually it is the axle or bushing that is damaged and takes a partial tear-down to replace.

Is it a newer model which is still under warranty? If its out of warranty, I would send it to Vanessa which will save you quite a bit on the service.
