The Official Platinum Day Date Owners Thread

There are a number of these 'Official Owner' threads out there. I've been so happy with my new 228206 that I thought it made sense to start one for all the platinum Day Date owners. Hoping you all participate - looking forward to seeing your photos!
I'll start things off.

This is an absolutely gorgeous watch. What a presence on the wrist. Just stunning.

Of course, now I am off to search on 118206.

I've been wearing my 36mm daily in the two weeks that I've owned it. The watch replaces a white gold DD that I wore almost daily for 13 years. The weight difference is significant between the two. My wife's DD feels featherlight when compared to the 220 grams (with 23 links) that I carry on my wrist today. I never forget that it's there and imagine that the 40 mm or 41 mm must be beasta with great presence. I tried the 40 mm and could not get it comfortable on my wrist. It was like wearing and ingot.

PT does look different to SS and Classic 36mm looks just about perfect.

This is the best shot I could get of the dial. The color is really changeable depending on lighting.

I’ve been thinking of flipping the blro for a 228206 but that’s one of several other ideas floating around.

Saw a platinum dd40 (listed as a ddii) on eBay go for $30k with box & papers. Crazy low price. I’m more of a fan of the DD40 in YG.

World is full of chances Usually low prices have reasons other than need of quick sell by the owner.

My platinum Day-Date is insanely precise, 1 second fast in 3 days.

Trying out my new macro lens. Still loving this big hunk of metal. Don't try one on. It's seductive.

The shine of platinum is very special.

First photo is without filter and second one has contrast increasing filter.

Every moment wearing platinum DD is amazing
