Icon5 Bedding... Is Your Bed Ready for Winter?

Picked up some new bedding this week to freshen up our bed for Winter...

What products you like and why?

Matouk makes some excellent European Goose Down Pillows and their Valletto Comforter is fantastic. Several weights and fills to choose from.
https://www.matouk.com/

Duxiana make some wonderful products too. We have been looking for a wool mattress protector and this one won hands down. They are custom made to fit. We have a split Cal King and they fit like a glove.

We change from the summer weight down duvet to the winter weight. Everything else stays as is.

Haha. Our bed is winter ready all year round. Especially in the summertime.

Nice stuff you got.

Funny, but we have tried Temperpedic and other higher end brands.

My wife claims they help her sleep better, but whether I am on the floor or a nice bed, once I'm asleep, it is lights out and it does not matter what bed I'm in. Must be all the years in the Army sleeping on whatever was available.

What I want is an old school electric blanket! But my wife says no way. She thinks it’ll catch fire.

I have a nice heavy down comforter with duvet on the bed and 1000 thread count cotton sheets. It is nice and cozy and warm at night. I don't want to get up most mornings.

The comforter I bought from Macy's on clearance a couple months ago. It is one of their hotel collection comforters and was originally $800. It was 40% off. Pillows, duvet and sheets are also from Macy's and less than a year old.

I'm going to have to look into getting some Matouk. Their stuff looks very nice.

Florida bed never changes. Ontario bed is good to go. Wife even drove heavy blankets over to the barn for her horse. For the extra cold nights.

Me Too! Last time we went on a ski trip they had them at the resort. Man... It was so nice to have it on when it is really cold outside. I think they are safe these days especially with new technology.

I like 1000% cotton fitted sheets and then just one flat sheet. A very light comforter, maybe not even that's what it's called. But it's light sweater type over sized top throw blanket.

It's has to be all white though I was told. Although now that I split my time between east/west coast I can sneak another color in there. She loves Macy's for bedding

Funny you ask the wife just bought some sort of winter sheets lol they feel like pajamas

I couldn’t care less about the sheets as long as they aren’t complete junk. It’s my tempupedic and my pillows I care about!

I keep the same bedding all year round and have my aircon serviced every three months.

The Hotel Brand at Macy's is nice line. We recently changed to the Sferra brand for sheets and duvet covers etc. https://www.sferra.com/ If you are in La Jolla, CA Everett Stunz has a pretty good selection. https://www.everettstunz.com/
