Lazy Question
I am sure I could find this answer by doing a little research but I have had a long day and I am lazy.
I am a DJ, DD, YM kinda Rolex guys, and I hear soo much on here about all of these crazy popular models. The GMT II (a couple of models) the two green subs and the SS Daytonas. Which of these are the most sought after and why? |

I was at mayors jewelers in Boca Raton a few days ago as well as Hyde Park today in Denver and both places said the Hulk sub is the most asked for. For me, it just came out of nowhere never even thought of a green bezel a week ago but quickly realizing it’s has just about the most hype currently. The Blnr also is right up there . Just picked that up last week . Also almost impossible to find at AD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Personally, I think Rolex's SS range of Sports watches represent the first level of 'achievable luxury' most of us can aspire to.
Due to this, they are in high demand, but supply is limited to maintain the brand value. Over supply would kill the 'kudos' of owning a Rolex and having to wait makes the eventual ownership feel even more special. SS Ceramic Daytona's are almost impossible to find in AD's so if someone really wants one they will either have to wait literally years to get one at MSRP or pay a ridiculous premium to a grey dealer to own one now. |

It is about exclusivity. The harder a watch is to buy, the more people want it (even if they don't especially like it).
You can find threads where numerous people bash Daytonas for being too small and being girls' watches, yet everyone suddenly craves the ceramic Daytona now that it is THE Rolex. |

They didn’t. I should’ve asked. Blnr was definitely my first choice . A post a couple days ago had it split about 50-50 between that and the Hulk . Slight edge to the BLNR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

BLNR has been popular for years, but in last 3/4 months seems the LVc has taken over.
