Your watch looks magnificent! I just picked up a new 14060M from my AD today, and am really enjoying it. Initially I had concerns that it would look too big (I'm female), but am really pleased with its appearance and weight after about eight hours of wrist time. My hubby tried on a new DSSD, and it looked stunning on him. Now, I know what I am going to get him for Valentine's. :-) |

I have a 14060m and really enjoy the fact that it doesn't have a date and is non-COSC.....also to me it's a link to the past history of Rolex Submariners!!!

Does the 14060 have the same bezel as the 551X/1680/1665?
And I wonder if a 5513 dial would fit a 14060 movement??? |

COSC aka C.O.S.C. is Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute, which is the institute responsible for certifying the accuracy and precision of wristwatches in Switzerland.

The sub has a thinner case but not by much. The bezel is thinner also. Comparing it to sub date.

Sorry re-awaken an old thread, but this topic has become very pertinent to me as I'm on the hunt for a pre-ceramic Sub. I want a Luminova dial and a no-holes case which mean either a 14060M or a 2000-2002. For me thinner is better, but the no-date is only slimmer by like 1/2mm. I would prefer the SEL bracelet which also has the improved diver's extension. Date vs no date is a toss-up due to the usual arguments....
But based on the other stuff, I guess I just chose to go with a 16610! |
