Needs to be reported fast
Fake Band, and surely fake all around. Amazing story. No time to relist, thus sale is final.

...agree...
...the band is COUNTERFEIT and TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT....period. Everything else can/should be considered SUSPECT.

I agree. Good catch. This guy has bought and sold some suspect watches all along if you look at the feedback he has received. Something smells foul.

Wow. Now it has been removed because of an error in the listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-GMT-Master...d=p3286.c0.m14 I wonder what the error was beside the fake band. Big Brother is watching maybe. Terry Newton

from those pictures all I could 100% say is that it has a submariners claps on a GMT - and even then Stan has already siad that it is a fake band - i my eyes this means it is a fake band. teh pictures are not good enough for me to say more

...okay...
....first, the watch is PRESENTED as a Rolex. The band would APPEAR to also be Rolex. HOWEVER, the band is a COUNTERFEIT...pure and simple. If you were the buyer, would you want to purchase ANY Rolex with a COUNTERFEIT band??? ...NOT... It would be better to sell the head WITHOUT any kind of band as opposed to selling it with a counterfeit band....even a simple nylon band would be better than a counterfeit.
...second, I am not personally sure about the "nipple" dial, but I think they are usually associated with the 2T, I beleive. I cannot remember seeing a "nipple dialed" S/S GMT. Springer, Orchi, and SteveM can better advise as to the watch head itself. Hope this helps. Stan. |
