** New Year's Tradition Dish ** Your Part of the World??
I'm cooking up a batch of "black eye peas" for tomorrow eve and New Years Day. I give little jars to my next door neighbors for Good Luck.
Does anybody else prepare special dishes for New Years? DM

My wife and I have had a tradition since we have been together (12 years). Home made pizza with dough made by my wife. I can't wait. We are supposed to go over to a friends house tomorrow night but we are still making pizza beforehand.

We like to make king crab legs/claws and fillet mignon steak with various sides if we stay in for NYE.
Wife has the flu so might be a TV Dinner for me this year. Kidding...Bought a Full Grass Fed Beef Filet Mignon Tenderloin and picking up Crab tomorrow! Dinner Must Go On!

The big spreads around here are not until Tet or Chinese New Years. Then the grocery list becomes too large to list.
