2 daytonas and a sky dweller

Hi guys,

just wanted to ask thoughts.

Local AD has come through an offered a bundle deal of a white face SS Daytona, a white face SS sky dweller and a white gold Daytona on rubber.

Cant really say no as I'm desp to get both a Daytona and sky dweller so I have paid and will collect the watches tonight.

I have never owned any precious metal pieces before, and have always been told you will lose a lot of money on them if you purchase for retail, however looking at the pre owned market it seems it has held its value?

is the white gold Daytona a piece that I will lose significantly on?

Once you take it off the lot the gold Daytona will loose value but the 2 SS pieces will jump up quiet a bit. Also factor in the tax etc. do you plan on keeping all 3? That’s quiet a Christmas right there lol.

If this is the new WG Daytona on Oysterflex, I don't think I could have resisted.

30% off MSRP for the WG bracelet is pretty much equivalent to what I paid for my oyster flex.

Sup fellas,

Merry xmas and happy new year!!!

Absolutely smitten with these, far more excited than I thought I would be.

It seems the feeling in here is that the white gold will lose money, however I paid full retail £21, and have been looking at chrono from time to time and am struggling to find anything really for under £20.

Do we expect the loss to be immediate or over a certain period of time?

Cheers

Awesome xmas present!

TBH wasn't 100% certain I would ultimately keep the white gold, but I have to say I love it to much to let it go now.

Unexpectedly I find the white face ss Daytona the prettier watch (exc the strap) however the wg feels very very special.

I hate when ADs do that kind of selling practice (whatever it's called)

I was offered Daytona SS in white if I purchased two PM Rolex watches as well. Ridiculous!!! Sounds like your deal is a bit better: one full PM, one partial (skyD)

That said it sounds like u for a good deal with a fast selling skyD

Congrats on the Daytona SS :)

If you paid retail price for the WG Daytona, then yes. 20-30% discount would be possible typically.
