GMT 116710 : Which serial numbers are best?

For the GMT 116710 : Which serial numbers are best? Are they all very similar in quality?

Once you get into a six digit, what is the difference? I think they all have the same movement. You just need to decide if you want the bruiser, black, TT or gold.

Notable exception would be the late Z and all M series as they have the 3186 w/Parachrome hairspring found in current 116710 GMT-C watches.

FWIW, I have a write up on the differences here: https://www.minus4plus6.com/paracromblu16710.php

For a current 6 digit watch, any serial number thats not on a stolen watch is the best

If you're superstitious and believe in Feng Shui, then surely you must know 6, 8, 9 are the most auspicious numbers in the Chinese Cultural beliefs. Heck! if there's a number 2 somewhere in the serial number, then you double your luck, prosperity, health and happiness...

The Beijing Summer Olympic Games in 2008 was hailed as one of the most successful Olympic Games ever, also the most expensive at a total cost of US $40 billion dollars.
Did you know that the official Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 was at exactly 8.08 pm 8.8.2008 local time and the closing ceremony at 8.00 pm 24.8.2008 ?

To a potential Chinese buyer in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, a Rolex watch with lots of 8 in the serial number is worth paying the extra premium

Just Saying.....
