Oysterclasp springbar problem

Hi everyone,
Recently acquired an explorer ii. I've noticed that the snap-fit mechanism was loose and upon closer inspection, one end of the springbar that attaches the snap-fit module to the clasp does not fit in the clasp hole.
I've taken a couple of photos to hopefully illustrate this problem better.
No matter how hard I try, I can't get the springbar to fit. It is not bent. The springbar fits the clasp without the snap-fit module but not when it is through the module.
Any thoughts?

I would go to a dealer and obtain a new springbar. The one in there could be broken if it doesn't fit properly.

Don’t wear the watch until the spring bar is replaced or fixed. You will loose your watch from bracelet failure. I am thinking your springbar fits but is out of alignment. I work with watches all the time and I would remove the springbar and try to reinstall it with a fine springbar fork. You can apply pressure and manipulate it to fit. I have had similar issues with a Omega rubber dive strap and lugs. It’s fustrating, but can be done with some experience. If you are not comfortable with this procedure, then take it to your dealer.

Thanks!
I'll try swapping out the springbar

Looks like it should be doable to just snap it into place. Go to nearest AD and they will sort it out for you.
