You could get BNIB from a forum seller for ~$1k less than MSRP. I know as I bought a No Date for $6,500.

I don't have exact numbers on pre-owned in that time frame, but you can work your way down from my BNIB purchase.

Do either of the watches really appeal to you - independent of current hype? If so, go for it. Very little downside.
