How to buy an 14060M?

Hello Friends,

I am the newest member and I wanted to ask for your advice.
I am looking to buy an unpolished 14060M either 2 or 4 liner.
The ADs have limited inventory and when they have it it looks overpriced to me.
Is online the best way to buy one and if yes where? Ebay or the Sales thread in our forum?

Many thanks in advance.

Buy here. There are couple of complete sets in the For Sale section.

Make sure to buy the seller before you buy the watch.

If you don't know what that means, check out the "Watch Out" section as part of your research.

x2! Lots of fakes on ebay, and there are scammers here too where you get nothing for your money. So be extremely careful!!!

Definitely buy the seller. Look at watchrecon, and check out some trusted sellers. Unfortunately the prices of these seem to be going up over the past year. I got mine in February (K serial, two-liner) of this year and the average listing price seems to have jumped by like $700 or more since I was first looking. Not sure what the actual sales price would be if you made an offer.

The 14060 reference is an awesome watch — just the right blend of tool and elegance, with a rock solid movement that should last a lifetime. Truly a classic. Good luck in your search, and be sure to post pics when you get it!

Oh yeah, stay away from eBay.

You could try here or eBay if the seller has a substantial history of successful rolex or other high end watch sales. On eBay you pay through PayPal and it provides some level of Insurance. If you are careful, and buy the seller, I am not as convinced as others here that EBay is unsafe. Make sure you have access, time and contractual ability to authenticate and return it if not completely genuine. As soon as you get it take it someplace reliable to open the case and authenticate it and pressure reseal it
Good luck!

Thank you so much guys. I tried to review the busiest sellers in the forum and guys like mdgrwl, cwieb, erikszper look legit.
It would be interesting if the forum introduced a ranking system for both buyers and sellers based on the amount of successful transactions they have had.
