Headed to Downers Grove, IL for quick business trip - may not have time to make it into the city- anyone have any dealings w this AD (either Rolex or non-rolex)? Was considering making it a stop if I had some free time. Thx !

The CD at the Oakbrook mall are a great bunch of people. Very welcoming. Enjoy your visit.

One that I know of closed. I had a few unpleasant experiences there with extremely snobby and stuffy staff.

With that said, it is a mall store and there are plenty of lookers (non-buyers), but I didn't like the way they treated people.

Razny & CD Peacock are both worth a visit. I haven't been to all of their locations, but the ones that I have they are very welcoming.

I think those are the only 2 dealers that have offered water or a beverage when I walk in. Unlike Wisconsin AD's.

C.D Peacock in Old Orchard is a nice little Rolex Boutique. Have a good selection of watches. Friendly staff and offered to clean my D-Blue that I didn't purchase from them. But don't expect to get any discount on sports models from them. They will ship out of state for you to save you tax (shipping on you).
Their store in Wood Field mall is not bad either.

I prefer Razny in the Chicago area.

They're not nice on the phone either. Concur.

I stopped in tonight and , granted it was pretty empty, but I had a very nice experience. The sales person spent a good amount of time w me, showing me watches, chatting about watches etc. As expected, there Rolex case was devoid of SS sports watches except for the usual suspects (Milgaus) and she laughed when I brought up getting on a waiting list for LV, aquanaut or nautilus ... but overall it was a nice visit and the store itself is impressively large. Worth a visit if you are out in the Chicago burbs.
