You know what, I’ve been thinking about it also. The daytona is just too small. What I’d love to get is a 44mm offshore in steel

How old are you? since you mention your getting older. I think ROOs are more suited to younger guys and RO maybe a good choice. Even the 42mm ROOs are quite big watches as well - bigger than a SkyD so thats another issue if you dont like large bulky watches.

Why dont you get a Patek? 5711 or 5712 they are class and elegance and its a true gentleman's watch.
