Sd43

As soon as the watch was announced, I put my name down for a SD43 with the 3 AD’s who I have previously bought Rolex watches from over the years. All of them told me it would be atleast a year before I would get one and, over the past few weeks, they have now all told me it will probably be another year (if the watch is still being produced).

Subsequently I have just pulled the trigger on a SD43 from a trusted member from this fine forum.

I cannot wait to have that lovely item on my wrist.

Got mine from an AD in Scotland in November 2017. Was on their list for 6 months. Got a D-Blue and a BLNR from the same AD.

Yeah...I would have done the same if I had not got one last year through my AD.

The premiums have come down to the point you would be crazy to wait a year or two when you could be enjoying that beauty on your wrist tomorrow. Congrats!

They're good, but I'm still waiting for a Hulk, Daytona and a blue Skydweller from them.
Got the others in a 8 month time period.

I just turned one offered to me by an AD down a couple of weeks ago. Because I felt so one who really wants it should get it. I wasn’t interested in it that much
But smart move on your part getting the watch and enjoying it however way you can get your hands on it!

Good move. I agree that the price difference is relatively small now.

My AD had 0 preorders but I got the second one they had months ago. It is very strange to me how the allocation system works. In fact they still have the old SD in stock as well.

Just staggering the difference between one country/market and another.

The very minute the SD43 was announced at BW2017, I picked up my phone and called one AD and one boutique to put my name down. I had no previous relationship with any of them. The AD wanted me to pay them a visit and leave my details by filling up their card which I did. The boutique didint have any particular requirement.

The AD had no clue of how long I would have to wait. The boutique told me there was no chance of seeing one last year, there were several people before me on the list and they might get 3 or 4 pieces.

On May 11th 2017 I get the call from the AD. I couldn't believe it, so soon? The watch had just arrived and was ready for collection. It was their very first SD43 and it turned out I was the first on the list! Tried it on, took it home.

Then in June last year I got a call from the boutique. They had one in stock for me. I was very surprised considering "I had no chance of seeing one that year". I passed obviously, told the assistant I already had one, she sounded surprised.

So that's two out of two. Maybe I was lucky.
