Help: is this Rolex 1500 authentic?
I am new to the vintage watch world, and looking to buy this 1974 Rolex 1500 online, everything else looks fine, but this crooked model mark on the lug raised suspicion. Please help. Thanks

Watch looks ok to me. I have seen wonky engravings before on authentic watches. Also, the degradation on a blue dial around the lume is a known fault of real blue dials with tritium plots. Its hard to find a blue tritium dial without degradation around the lume plots and if it doesnt have the damage then i am skeptical.

The watch appears 100% genuine based on the photos. Regarding the 1500 engraving between the lugs, it is not uncommon to see them a little "crooked." i

Good looking watch. Are my eyes playing tricks on me in the third picture? The end of the links?
