What i want to know is, how do trusted sellers like DavidSW still get their inventory with all of these restrictions being enforced by Rolex? It seems like they have a never ending shortage of these marked up professional models.

Current practices and prices will continue as long as individuals wait on “lists” to get watches

When Rolex begins to lose sales, it will revert.

That's what we hope for. But I wonder if that will happen anytime soon.

Honestly no.

For what I have bought, I have always gotten a better price from my AD

I never imagined I would feel fortunate to have just paid sticker for a new watch, but I'm glad the timing worked out for me on this one (new arrival this week), and I'm glad to be the original owner with the watch registered in my name. I normally don't care so much about that, but for some reason I'm glad about it this time :-)

I think you belong to a small fortunate group, Brian. Those without solid relationship with ADs used to be much more pleased with deals they could get from trusted sellers.

Nope ...................... the sheeple factor is strong with any desireable/recreational/luxury/trendworthy item.

I have noticed upticks in TS listings. Even an item that doesn’t sell for a couple of weeks has been listed in a new thread at a higher asking price than original thread.
