AD call: SS Daytona & Milgauss...want to pass the word.

My AD just called, they have a blk dial ss daytona, white and blk dial milgauss.

The Daytona has new style clasp.

Since I already have the blk dial daytona, it is up for grab.

If anyone like more information please PM or email me [email protected]

You will be dealing directly with AD.

TIA

I am surprise that it took that long. They called me yesterday morning and I expected it to be gone the same day.

$10k for a SS watch is a tough sell these days.

I turned down both a white and black dial SS DT at $9,925 inside of a week.

yep...me too. But it's Dallas, item like that will sell regardless.

Even with 12 mths interest free, 20% down, and monthly payment of ~$1000...hard explaining to wife.

Man, you make that sound so easy!!!!

If they would have told me that at my AD, I'd be done!!!

I'm GLAD my AD doesn't offer 12 months financing. I'd be in real trouble.

The white dial and black dial Milgauss were still there when I stopped by last night. The LV was also sitting there. What surprised me was that they have a pre-own section now.

An interesting tid-bit I found out from the watch manager was that if they find out a customer who buys a watch from them with the intention of flipping, they will never sell to that customer again.

For one they wouldn't discount a penny. They also wouldn't ship to save sales tax and hell, I can buy one from my buddy John (HKperf) for cheaper than that!

simple...no profit margin.

Many buy these to resell...with msrp at $9925; no discount; sale tax; not shipping out-state. The ss daytona will be readily avail for one that buy to wear.

they have no worry about that...who would paid $10.750K for a ss daytona just to flip...that would be a crazy thing to do

Your absolutely right. The profit margin is gone. The SS Daytona will be and is now more readily available at MSRP to those that want to buy one to wear. Problem is, the number of people willing to shell out 10 plus K for one is dwindling.

SS Daytonas are starting to pile up at most AD's.
Many people passing at 9925.00, I turned two down as well.
AD's will soon be discounting SS Daytonas!

I just passed on one today at $9925. It seems like all you have to do is ask, many ADs have them now.

I would grab one (another one) at 9925 if our Canadian dollars would still be on parity with the US.

What's the price of a SS Daytona in Canada? I'll be in Vancouver next month and I am curious if I could get a deal since the US dollar is up.
