Tudor Date Window

The date doesn’t seem to be perfectly centered in the window of my Tudor Black Bay steel. Anyone else notice an issue with their black Bay steel or their Pelagos?

Not really. But I don’t own a BB with a date. Or an in house Tudor movement for that matter. Here is a shot of my Pelagos. Looks good to me.

My pelagos is similar to yours. It goes more up, not really centered. Should this be fixed?

Try quick-set cycling it through a month, and see if it straightens out.

It does look a bit high. It would be enough for me to get it adjusted if under warranty. Sorry Dickie.

My pelagos. It bothered me at first because my 116713 was centered. I decided to get used to it. Now I see other Tudors are fine, so I'm not sure if I should get it fixed.

I had the same issue on my LHD, I got it fixed under warranty, took about a month. I think you should get it done as once you notice it, you will obsess about it.

It’s about a month old, I think I will live with it and maybe if it happens to need a slight timing adjustment one day in the next few years I will have it done then along with a pressure test which needs to be done every year or two anyway. Judging by the fact that others have a similar situation on their tudors I would say that it must fall within normal spec and is a cosmetic thing.

Your Pelagos looks same as my Black Bay. I would say there is no issue and within spec. I will admit that having it slightly skewed toward 12 o’clock does make it very easy to read at an angle, which is how I normally view the watch, not very often do I look strait on at the date from above.

Here is the angle I would normally view at. Looks centered from here. Maybe it’s by design? Ha!👍🏻

However small, there does seem to be an issue with the date window alignment... Hadn't noticed until I came across this thread

Such an easy QC issue yet so many ppl have this problem.

TBH I would get this fixed. It would annoy me and once you see it you will always focus on it taking away from you enjoying the watch.

When I look at a watch I look at the alignment of dates etc.....if its not aligned its the first indication that its not authentic.

Seriously though is a $100 seiko can get alignment perfect how can a $3k watch not?
