Radiomir 1940 case on steel band

Anyone tried to fit a 24mm steel Luminor band on a Radiomir 1940 case? Just photoshopped one (not my best work ) but I think it looks great.
Are there for sale any steel band for the Radiomir 1940 case? I’d love to have mine fitted with some kinda’ steel band with curved end links.

Personally I feel Panerai are one of the few watch brands that actually look better on leather.
Honestly not seen a Pan on steel that's made me go...Wow!
I would leave well alone...leather is part of the history & charm.

The new "old style" bracelet is really nice. It used to be that only models that came with the steel bracelet could accept one (something to do with the lugs). I'm not sure if that's still the case (pun not intended ;-) ).
