Basel Guesses
Well I managed to get last years correct
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=517264 So here are my guesses for this year, any new guesses are appreciated. Firstly, how about more Oysterflex models? We seen the start with the Everose Yachtmaster, then the three beautiful Daytona Models and I'm sure that there is a nice additional profit margin from Rolex producing Oysterflex bracelets rather than SS or PM versions. Secondly, Ceramic TT models e.g. Daytona, I think there is a good profit margin in TT however the last few years they have been neglected due to popularity of Ceramics on SS. Maybe they will try to increase the model. Finally, if they do release Pepsi in SS then will they create a new GMT II model just in PM. Should be interesting anyway. |

my guess the Deepsea watches will be discontinued there far too big on the wrist and with the 40mm sea dweller 4000 discontinued a year or so back this leaves the door open for the 43mm dweller to fill both market gaps also the red font may change back to white so to cause a bit of a low production dial variant rather like the old red subs and double red seadwellers of late .

i guess they will release a variant of an existing watch in a configuration many will find gaudy, tacky, or contrary to the traditional vision of said watch. criticism will flood in, followed by a few dozen "incoming" threads when it's finally released. the final step is a lack of supply and general fawning over it completing the 180 from "ew" to "ooo"
