Out of The Stickers And Into The Wild

For those of you who may have seen my premature Incoming thread (premature in that I was not ready to unsticker/wear) of a couple of days ago, I have finally submitted; I have unstickered, sized, and began wearing, my new Sub ND.

I love this thing!

Yes, the Pelagos will be going away (the idea to pick up the blue Pelagos was too good...I can't resist) and the Sub now becomes the daily watch for me.

Early impressions:

1. The lower profile of the Sub is very welcome; the Pelagos stands taller than I realized.

2. The relative heft of the sub strikes me; the titanium of the Pelagos makes it seem lighter than maybe it should be. The Sub has more feel on my wrist.

3. The cleaner/finer Mercedes hands are a better look to my eyes.

4. The Pelagos lume is going to be missed; I wish the Sub had lume on the bezel!

5. Most important for last: my wife likes the Rolex better.

It's a great week!

I told you in that thread:
"Place the Rolex on your wrist and within a week you will understand why the Sub it is the archetype of the diver watch. The Pelagos is beautiful too"

Congratulations again. You got a Classic there.

Regarding point 2.

Put you Pelagos on a balance first and then the Sub. You will see that there is not much difference in weight. ;)

Cheers

Alex
