Wow, that is a wide wide divided between those two watches.

I am generally not a fan of two tone watches but I like the Black Bay Two Tone On Leather.

I also like the Chronograph but only on Leather as well.

Both so different but both so cool. I do wish the Chronograph had a dive bezel and was a true "Dive Chrono". I love using my bezel for various tasks.

Both are neat but different.

I like both but fancy the chrono more as it is better balanced.

tough call. I think i actually prefer the S&G but would probably take the safe choice and get the chrono. Just not sure about TT for me long term. I like both.

I love my tutone Black Bay, really a well done design imho.
That said, I am not a big fan of chronos although I have owned many including Daytonas.
All the timing I need to do can be done with the rotating bezel of a Sub/Black Bay.

I like the chrono a lot, BUT I just don’t like the riveted bracelet, that’s the main thing holding me back.

Tough comparison as your watch "needs" are not expressed in the post. If you just want to pick up a new Tudor, the Chrono would seem to be the safer/conventional bet. If you want a little more flair and enjoy contrast, go for the S&G.

I’d go the Chrono route personally. More versatility. Don’t let the riveted bracelet put you off. I own Rolex watches and just purchased the in-house Black Bay Blue. Love it. I was a little leery of the bracelet when viewing online. But the bracelet is killer. Very comfy and gives the watch a cool vibe. A little different look than the oyster bracelets on my other watches.

I don’t like two tone at all and I think the Black Bay chronograph is kind of a bad design. If I were you, I’d get a black or gray dial Heritage Chronograph instead.

Damn that's a lot of ink!!! Either watch could work. I likely would go for the Chrono. Isn't the S&G and plated watch? I understand it's thick gold but not solid like most two tone modern Rolexes.

yeah... capped, not plated though and apparently there is a difference. But not solid.

Completely agree. Very comfortable bracelet and the rivets aren’t something I notice nearly as much as I did before I got the watch when I viewed them unfavorably.

See the pic though—not really noticeable in profile
