North Flag

Just picked up a Tudor North Flag.

Have read the manual and can see no reference to NOT changing the date between 9:00pm and 3:00am like some ETA movements.

Does anyone know if, as it is powered by a new Tudor movement, that the date can be changed at any time like my Rolexes?

Always practice safe winding is my motto, so I would not do it.

i never do it anyway as i have no idea if it's in AP or PM if the watch has stopped. I always advance it to the next date change, confirm it's in AM and then change to the correct date. I have no idea why anyone would do it different, harm to the movement or not, as you are just guessing at that point. I dont get up before 3am so its always past the danger zone anyway on the watches that have them.

If not mistaken, the NF was the first Tudor Watch to be released with their 72 hour in house movement...so that watch model has never had an ETA movement in its history!

That I know, was merely seeking clarification if there was a restriction on when you can change the date on the NF as there is for ETA movements.

Nope...not on any Rolex or Tudor in-house movement!

You can change the date at any time. Of course be mindful of whether it's now reading AM or PM. You may want to do as tyler1980 suggested or change the date to the day before today and rotate the hands until the correct time and date is reached.

On the Tudor site they describe the movement as offering "Instantaneous date with rapid setting without non-correction range."

Looks great congratulations, great that it has "normal" hands! I have to see it in flesh could be an alternative as I am thinking on purchasing a watch for my son that is graduating from high school this year, I leave the Rolex for the university graduation.
