I like both 5 and 6 digits. Different watches for different moods. I find it hard to choose sometimes. Im glad they’re so different because it adds more variety!

No idea 🤨 not my watch. Hadn’t even noticed that. Maybe it’s the angle? Here’s a couple more pics.

Noted. I’m trying to track one down that I can try on. Every time I go to the mall I check the AD to see if they have one I could try on. This is all due to no longer having my old SD. I miss that thing everyday. The sacrifices one has to make when you get married and need a few more dollars. Looking back now it wasn’t necessary to sell it and more because I was afraid my bank balance was so low due to all the vendor payments. I got decent money for it at the time but replacing it today would cost me double . It was a full set Y Serial.

I guess that’s it. The case on the sub-c is so much wider that I’m not used to the look.

I think it looks fine. Maybe a bit big for your wrist depending on your taste, but that’s personal. If you like a smaller fit, then the 5 digit case is the one for you—if you can live with all its shortcomings compared to the 6 digit models.

I had the 16600 previously and whilst it was great, I found the poor quality bracelet a little irritating and also it a little too heavy. The 116600 is so much better in my view. It will work great for you.

I feel your pain re: selling when you actually didn't need to. I've sold two houses when I didn't need to, just like you I was worried about depleted savings!! Bothe houses have doubled in value since. Utterly stupid decision - but, savings enable me to sleep soundly and live stress free, so maybe the right thing to do overall. So don't sweat it

Tastes change I guess. I had a 14060m sub that I would never sell but wanted to try on the new one and when I did I switched and never looked back. 2002 vs 2017

It all comes down to our own personal comfort level. Purchase what you like, and don't force yourself to like a particular piece just because others do. Good luck!

Looks good, but you may just have a subjective preference for the 5 digit cases. Nothing wrong with that. I prefer the smaller 5 digit cases too, and I say that as a Sub C owner.
