Short wait BLNR uk ADs in the west country...
Hi all,
I bought an Explorer II 40mm about 6 months ago to go with my 16610LV, but it hasn’t grown on me.... I’m looking at a BLNR as my next purchase, and have seen lots of topics about using small regional ADs to get watches quicker, some saying they’ve had BLNRs in 4 weeks ! I spoke to my nearest AD in Cheltenham, who wanted 10% deposit up front, and was quoting a wait of “up to a year”. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas if AD in Worcester, Bath, etc are quicker? Also looking to shift the exp II if anyone is interested ! Cheers J |

Grey price is now over 9K so this must be very hard to find without a good AD rel.

The less busy the AD, the less stock they receive from Rolex so I’m not sure that you’re more likely to get joy from them.
The shortest wait times I was quoted when I was sniffing out my BLNR was a year, and this was last year when the stock situation wasn’t (quite) as bad as it is now. Those quotes were from London AD’s. Conversely I had AD’s outside of London quoting between 1.5 - 4.5 years. Eventually got mine in 6 months from one of my local AD’s from whom I had purchased from previously. Your best bet is likely to be sticking with the AD you have an established relationship with. |

Not sure, not in the market for one or similar. Maybe give them a ring?

Then no as they don’t keep a list. And they put most of their Watches straight in the window. The only exception is if you are a long term client.

That is crazy. If I find another BLNR. I will fly to UK and will be willing to sell it to you guys at whatever you guys pay in the UK. Haha. I got mine in about 5 days after I made up my mind. I am on the list at few other ADs, but who knows when they will call.

I was told by the AD in Worcester only last week that I am number 35 on their “Enquiry” list, and they haven’t received a BLNR in around 6 months.... they openly told me they have a VIP list which is almost as long but will get preferential treatment over the other list.

Read his post closer. He said he already had one and he’s still on the list looking for another.

I put my self on list at multiple ADs hoping to get a call from one. The one who got me the BLNR, placed a special order through his Rolex rep. The surprising part for the AD and me was the watch got delivered 4-5 days later instead of 2 months. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk |
