On sale it is available for $1000. Don't know how they do it for that price. |

I have mine on a black, grey, and orange nato. Purchased Pre-owned on ebay for $750. http://www.secondhandwatch.id/2016/1...racer-dlc.html |

I have the same watch on a green nato and love it. Only issue is that the painted numbers on bezel are starting to chip.
QsUOTE=jrs146;8365536]Comes with a bracelet. I prefer it on a Nato. Looks good on leather too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/QUOTE] |

I'm a fan of my VSA. Under $500, fits my attraction to divers watches, automatic, sapphire crystal, great insert (IMO).

Definitely Seiko Divers. I've had an SKX007, 009, Turtle, and a SKX031. Been thinking of picking up a Samurai or SBDC051. I also have an Astron which has been getting a lot of wrist time for some reason.
A Seaforth would be very nice for under $1k, but hard to get, and I am not comfortable with the prices people are asking second hand. I also have a Damasko DB1 (similar to DA36/38), or Sinn 556, which can be had under $1k. |

Anyone have a thought on the Nomos Club?
I know a little over 1k new, but believe they can be had under 1k used. I'm looking for a high school graduation gift... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

I'd definitely consider a Ming watch. Modern, unique, and made by a WIS

I have a Nomos Club and love it. It’s a cool watch that now comes in several different versions. You can’t go wrong with a Nomos.

I picked up my used Nomos Club Nacht for barely above $1K and it's made me fall in love with the brand ... enough so that I'm looking for my 2nd Nomos. I looked at rack grade Seiko diver at one time but couldn't do the size.

Nomos makes outstanding watches. I started with a Club Datum and picked up a Tangente 38 last month. I knew after the first one that I would get another one.

I used to pimp the Seiko Samurai and Vintage 62 mas around the $1K mark. The 62mas is a know and coveted watch now and the Samurai is outclassed by the Oris 65 divers and the Longines legend diver

I don’t like the style of the Club and would never buy it, but if you like it then get it. I have an Orion and the quality of the watch far exceeds its price point. It’s an excellent piece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

YES.
The other brands I'd look at, used Stowas, used Damasko, etc. Personally, I wouldn't buy brands that are just above a replica/knock-off. Meaning it is a replica/knock-off but they put their name on it rather than "Rolex". Just seems disingenuous... |
