Wow, glad you got the watch back and a big to the honest person who found it.

Still amazed you didn't notice earlier it was missing. The amount of times you look down at your hands during a round of golf I would have thought you'd spot it straight away.

My exact thoughts. Nato's never struck me as a safe alternative. Plus I dont care for the way they look. You original bracelet should keep it nice and secure from now on.

Great story, glad it was a happy ending. But how in the world do you not notice a GMTII suddenly not on your wrist?

An old thread, but why wear any watch to play golf. Just a distraction to me. No matter what the brand the jarring and quick torque motions/sudden stops on the ground by the clubhead cannot be good for the movement.

I give thanks for the honesty, and integrity, of the gentleman who found your watch. Unfortunately, I believe that many people would have viewed this as “their lucky day!”

And remember.... Keep you head down. Swing through the ball. And make sure your watch is still on your wrist!

Why were you in the rough?

I once knocked a watch clean off the nato while carrying a box through a doorway. It must have been a precise hit as both springbars failed. Fortunately, the watch was only a little scratched. Runs perfect.

What a great ending to your story. It's always uplifting to hear about good people doing good things today when the alternative would be so easy.
