Any regrets on DD40 ?
Anyone regret or changed the dial after making the decision to go with the champagne DD40 or silver DD40 after some time?

No regrets it's a great watch.
My only criticism is the lack of micro adjustment for the bracelet |

I owned a earlier version (18238) with the Champagne dial and my only complaint was for me it was hard to read. Older eyes and the dial and hands are basically the same color. A bigger dial on the DD40 may help but if I was ever to do it again it would be a dark contrasting background to the gold hands.

Hard to regret any DD40 no matter what color dial. They are all beautiful in their own way.
If you want to change it up RSC will swap the dial for you anyway - of course with a cost. |

I have been wanting a new dial for my 36mm for quite some time. It is currently at Rolex getting a white dial. They wouldn't send the AD (they have a certified Rolex watch smith on site) white day and date wheels so it had to go to Rolex.
My estimate is $1,945.00. They are making me get a complete overhaul and the will steal my old dial. The selection is very limited for replacement dials but luckily I wanted white. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |

I was thrilled to buy the dd40. WG-green dial. I was also thrilled to be rid of it. Once you’ve enjoyed micro adjust bracelets, there’s no going back.

No problems at all reading the hands DD40. The diamond baguettes give it a wonderful pop to this black dial.
I absolutely love this watch. Pairs well with my 116619LB.

This is the exact watch I’ve got my eye on! More under the radar than YG but with a little pop.

I have the WG with Silver Quadrant with dial. When I saw that Rolex released a meteorite dial for the 40mm, I thought that I would send it in and swap it out. (I've always wanted a meteorite dial but the daytona and the platinum DD 36mm were just too small for my 8" wrist.) Then I wore it again remembered why I like the silver dial so much. I'll most likely add the WG with meteorite dial when they become available.
