Leather Cigar Cases

Looking for recommendations for a leather cigar case. I travel a lot, and would like to carry two to three cigars in a nice case that will hold up to wear and tear well.

Haven’t done extensive research, but the options I’ve found are the cheaply made cases for $60 at a local cigar place or something crazy expensive made of exotic leather on the web. Is there a happy middle ground?

If it doesn't have to be leather I have a two cigar otter box that is indestructible and it prolongs the humidification.

I use a Pelican case that is indestructible already, but looking for something a little more sophisticated.

Thanks!

My buddy makes them in custom leather skins. If the two on the site are not your thing give him a call and he can do one in everything from bison to saltwater croc to ostrich, etc.

Have several cases. Favorites are ST Dupont and Xikar. Carry the Xikar the most. Xikar makes good stuff that is well made and reasonable.

My wife gave me a beautiful leather case a few years ago. I’ve quit smoking cigars since then. Will post a few pics tonight.

I find a thin walled round can works best to accommodate the varying size ring gauges.

Would like to check out Xikar, and figure I can find a few examples if I keep my eye out when I frequent cigar places as I travel. I have a Xikar lighter that I haven’t been too impressed with, so would want to see a cigar case from them in person before buying.

G, really liking the look of the Pheasant by RD Gomez.

Do you know if they have their own dedicated site? I’m only finding them on eBay and other second hand sites.

Also, do your cigar holders have an air tight seal? Obviously, I understand that cases like this won’t provide any humidification (is that even a word?) but would like to know if cases like this keep cigars from drying out if I’m on the road for a week or more.

Thanks!
