Ooow! I'd had my Cartier Santos 100 two weeks when I dropped it and broke the sapphire Cartier puts on the crown. Two weeks old and it needed a full service because the crown had to be removed and replaced. I know the feeling of seeing a watch fly through the air in slow motion. On the bright side, Cartier, via Neiman Marcus, replaced the crown and performed the service at cost. Guess they felt sorry for the guy who dropped his nearly new watch.
My sympathy to everyone who submitted a pic on this thread. Cheers, Chris
