116200 vs 116000 blue. Which is nicer?

I'm thinking of buying a Rolex for my bday in a few months time, it will be my first rolex. Previously I've set my sights on Hulk or the submariner ND but the availability was shit and was told a 2 years wait time(for the hulk) when I was in an airport AD.

After some consideration I think a smaller 36mm watch would fit my 6.2" wrist better and have shortlisted these 2 models. DJ 36mm vs OP 36mm blue dials.
Personally I like the tone of blue on the DJ tho I'm not sure if the colour is edited, but I think the date and huge cyclops is a bit disruptive. The OP has better symmetry and seems like a bigger watch (37,38mm?) but I kind of prefer the timeless look of stick dials instead of 3,6,9.

Which one do you like better?

I would go for the blue op, in fact I did! Fits like a glove and the sunburst dial is just so. To be honest they are both lovely so you can't really go wrong

If date is not needed and you are on the non fluted & oyster bracelet way I would prefer the OP dial.
You have to try both on the flesh plus other options that you could think and you will have your answer.

I have no idea how I'm admiring submariners one moment and the next I'm drooling at OPs and Djs. It's hard to make up my mind

I prefer the DJ here but, as you say, it could be the photography. It would be best to see the two side by side and try them on.

Singapore is not too far from Taiwan. Why not take a flight and see what the ADs in Taipei can do for you? I was on a trip in Taiwan and the AD I spoke to mentioned they have quite a bit of customers from HK and Singapore. Just a thought.

And I like the DJ better.

36mm DJ looks best on your wrist in my opinion.

I think the datejust is a nicer watch, and looks better on your wrist.

I'm not a date fan but I like the looks of that datejust better but even with a smaller wrist I'd suggest trying on an OP 39.
