Thinking about a Tudor Prince Date-Day

So, as title mentions, I have taken a liking to the old Prince Date-Day as a knockaround watch but don't know much about them. As a result, I turn to the wisdom of he forum for input. I know the newer Glamour Date-Day are a bit larger but the looks of the older Prince are more classic (imho) so that's the way I am leaning unless there is a compelling reason to look at the newer lineup.

I know that I should get what sings to me, etc. but realistically I can't go try one on at this point so really looking for real life experiences maybe in comparison to dj36, etc.

Thoughts?

Adam,

That's the exact watch I am looking at except blue dial. Thanks for the link and your review. May just have to pull the trigger on it.

I wear my dad’s 1969 Date + Day jumbo on a canvas strap as a weekend watch. The size, 38mm, is a bit more contemporary, and I really enjoy mine. I do, however, give my dad grief for not getting a Sub like all the other GIs at the p/x.

You'll be glad you did. MSRP in HK for a brand new one is HK$18,600 (about US$2,370) but re-sellers often add a few hundred on top as it's hard to find outside HK or Japan.
