Thoughts on the PAM380

Hi,

I’m thinking on purchasing a PAM380 and would love to hear thoughts from others who own it.

I currently own a small collection of what I like to think focusses on the classic and understated; Patek 5711 with blue dial, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, 1970’s yellow gold IWC with date, 1950s Rolex Oysterdate with a black honeycomb dial and a couple of Seikos, SKX009 and the new SPB053 divers (see the big three attached).

And while I certainly appreciate quality movements, I’m not a purist when it comes to movements, and appreciate a great, easy to service ETA any day.

Love to hear your thoughts?

Thanks

The Radiomir PAM380 would be a great add on to your collection. Very nice 5711 btw.

Simple classic sausage dial with the OP up down logo. Oozes with PAM DNA...what’s not to like about the watch? It will be a great addition to your collection. Do post a wrist shot when you do get it :)

If you're thinking 380, also consider the 183, which has the sandwich dial (better on Rads then painted dials, IMHO), display back, Swan's neck regulator and Côtes de Genève decoration. I also think the logo is better on Luminors.

YMMV.

I love the 380 and it’s still available from Panerai boutiques and AD’s.

The simplicity, versatility, sits low on the wrist, cushion shaped. Has bigger dial and indices then Luminor logo which is much heavier and bulkier.

I have kwned a 380 and really enjoyed the classic Panerai look. Lors of diversity with strap changes. They can ne found for very reasonable prices.
