Most have more than one , had the Skx years ago as a kid that was my gate way watch , the flimsy jubilee was great and the endless demonstrations of dipping my wrist in streams and the watch was still ticking was like a magic trick lol

I don't trust this seller.
He says only 1 mark on the whole watch, on the bezel at 5 O'Clock. But if you look at the back of the lugs there are heaps of scratches, and so too the caseback. So in respect of the lugs and the sides of the case who knows what the real situation may be. Anyway, always good to look. The problem with scratches on this watch is that because of the Seiko "DiaShield" coating (which is supposed to make the surface of the case 2-3 times as hard as untreated stainless steel) any scratches that do occur cannot be polished out. Instead the case has to be sent back to Japan for re-coating with DiaShield surface treatment, or a new mid case purchased. This can cost potentially a lot and take 2-3 months turnaround. So that's the downside to scratches on this watch unfortunately.

I know I started this thread, and still think Seiko offers too many divers and variants, but I actually broke down and bought a diver last week, hopefully to be posted when it arrives. Could not resist after all the great pics posted here!

When I think of Seiko I think diver, so it kinda fits the image for me, idk if it's just all there popular models are diver's but I think there claim to fame are diver's and while it's a big company there not dumb and would change things up if they had too. If the customers keep eating it up so why change?

Someone posted over in the other forum that Rolex offers around 2500 combinations of the Datejust, so I guess it's all relative... |
