I am not a legal expert but are you allowed to advertise products you know you do mot have sufficient stock of? In many states I think the answer is no.

And try to sell you something else. It’s the “halo car” strategy. Want a Ford GT, but can only afford a Focus? Come on in, we’ll sell you a Focus.

The ad makes no promises about stock, price, or availability. Looks legit enough to me, although I didn’t study much false advertising in law school.

I was just at that store in South Florida. I left my name and contact info with them for this watch after the Basel announcement. I followed up with them and had one heck of an interesting conversation with their staff.
Essentially there is no list and they will not take down payments or orders for the Pepsi or the Daytona and that they were all spoken for for the foreseeable future. So I asked how the heck your actually supposed to try to buy one (even if you accept that there is a long wait) if you can't get on a list and you wont take an order for the watch...they said it was above their pay grade to answer that question. I did find out that they would put you on a waiting list and take a deposit for other Rolex watches like the Hulk, BLNR, Sub, SD43, DSSD and other popular sports models...guess the line is open for those. Glad to see they have an ad for a watch that the normal guy may not ever be able to buy...I guess Ill just have to enjoy my Batman:) |

It was about a year ago and my first Rolex purchase. I made the mistake of having the AD resize my bracelet. Of course, he butchered the screws and links. To the ADs credit though, when I raised it to the management team a few weeks later they ordered me a new link and screws. Now I know better, but I don’t think it was a bad experience per say...just a bad decision I made that could have been avoided if I knew any better. |

They physically can but the issue is that in most cases they either don’t use the right tool or they rush and end up scratching the links or damaging the screw heads. Folks on here typically prefer to do it themselves. |

I’d like to check...But the sales staff there usually give me a headache. Their little Rolex store cordoned off to the side of the main store will occasionally have a rep who is semi-informed but Bottom line I can’t see myself buying this watch - or anything from them..Perhaps Bucherer will improve their service / rep - in the future. |

Title is spot on. Stores are always very nicely presented but the staff are vultures, and rude if they can’t make a quick buck. Horrible customer service that will take a long time to fix because it’s ingrained in the culture of that company unfortunately.

I generally don’t need bracelets to be resized, but when I got my Black Bay at my AD (same place I got my Submariner), they had it displayed on the NATO and offered to put it back on the bracelet for me. They definitely had the right tools. They did a flawless job. Good ADs don’t get enough credit.

Nice. I’ve had a good experience at an AD with a specific person I trust and he did a spotless job. Everyone’s mileage will vary but in general I think you’re probably better off doing it yourself. |
