Have a feeling BLNR almost equal Sub as first/only Rolex.. think the blue attracts more than just Rolex fanboys and will always be desirable.
BLNR is a stunning piece ... I’m not bashing the BLNR by any means .
In fact all I’m saying is I had it , sold it and moved on.
Could it be a one and only ? Absolutely, yes...
Although just as the saying goes , different strokes
for different folks ... I have the Bluesy Sub C and
the SD4K so my blue color itch is still scratched...
If the hype should ever come down I might get another
one, one day ... if...

Gotta love the BLNR bashing threads, is this thread another one of them??

gaud·y1

ˈɡôdē/

adjective

adjective: gaudy; comparative adjective: gaudier; superlative adjective: gaudiest

extravagantly bright or showy, typically so as to be tasteless.

Learned a new word today.

Here is a picture to go with that word.

Yep that pic says it all!!! To each his own- I don't own a tool box and not much interest in a tool watch either. Enjoy your piece

Of all the GMT’s the BLNR I dare say is the coolest
and nicest GMT !!!!

The SD4K gives me a different feel though ...
it may look toolish but I’ll leave that to the
Sub C LN or Explorer 2.. Great Shot Faz....

Why is it when someone passes on the BLNR for any
reason it’s shunned by the forum ?

But if someone gets a BLNR it’s applauded to the
atmosphere and back? Preowned or not !!!

It’s a great watch indeed , but at the premium a lot
are asking it’s not really a great buy and for $10K or $11K
Over msrp $8950 I would pass all day long !!!

To each his own , loved it while I had it but I don’t think
I’ll get another one . So many other great offerings out
there than a BLNR , SS Pepsi BLRO or SS Daytona C...
One doesn’t have to be a sucker and pay premiums just
because there aren’t enough to go around!!!
But I digress... there are some people out there with more
Money than they actually need so it feeds the frenzy ...

Threads like this come across either attention seeking or jealous. You've made it clear you owned the watch and sold it. Why get so uptight about others feelings for the watch?

As for your comment regarding suckers that pay premiums. I don't think a lesson on simple economics needs to be brought up again on this forum.

So many other great watches out there? That's a bit subjective.

I'm glad you've landed on a piece that you love. That's the purpose of the journey.

appreciate your keen input my friend...
you are very observant...
Jealous when I've already had one.. ok...
I am simply stating that I was able to move on...
Is that a crime... ?

this forum does love to feed controversial info though... hey ?
