PEPSI Incoming (almost)!
So, I got in from a friends house yesterday after dinner to see a message from my father, thinking it's just an e-mail with family news I opened it and was greeted by the message "Fits like a glove....." and a picture.
Turns out my AD took delivery of their second BLRO in as many weeks and my old man agreed to take it on my behalf. Now the waiting game, I'm abroad working at the moment and it will be another 4 weeks until I get back to Blighty and manage to get it on my wrist. This is more painful than actually waiting for the watch to arrive at the AD. In the meantime I'll let my old man enjoy it whilst I'm overseas

I assume you dad paid for it as well. So technically he owns it and not you, and he has put you further down the queue.
What if he messages you back after a few days and says he loves it so much he is keeping it  Sure he won’t but if I was him I would have some fun with you telling you that. Good job he was available to grab it if you are away. |
