I can tell most responses are people that don't have vintage watches. The insurance is not related to replaced value, its actually finding a vintage watch replacement (dependent on condition)!
So I would agree it depends on the collection. I have vintage watches, I have a bank safety deposit box. |

I've never had a break-in, but I have had neighbors and friends who've had burglaries and while it's just about impossible to prevent entirely, I take every measure I can to limit my losses in the event I get unlucky.
Crooks are so brazen these days that it boggles the mind.

Some boxes here in Houston got a little wet during hurricane Harvey. Several were feet under water.
