I can tell most responses are people that don't have vintage watches. The insurance is not related to replaced value, its actually finding a vintage watch replacement (dependent on condition)!

So I would agree it depends on the collection. I have vintage watches, I have a bank safety deposit box.

Some boxes here in Houston got a little wet during hurricane Harvey. Several were feet under water.
