As above, is anyone seeing discounts on the WG Oysterflex watch and, if so, what is a reasonable % off retail to shoot for? I have tried two on and am thinking of making an offer on one of them at the AD.
I hadn't heard of discounts until earlier in this thread but, unlike the SS watches, there is at least some new inventory sitting unsold in cases.
Thanks if anyone can provide real world data.

I just bought both, do it! Paid list for ss with white face and received 15% off on wg.

I'm a sub guy, but three really is overkill, so go for it.

Not on the WG, think discounts would only be for very good customers, the other metals may fetch 10% off.

I bought a 116519LN last March. It is more comfortable than my Platona and the two are different enough to be in the same collection. As for discounts, as per the usual, make a good relationship with an AD. It is worth it in the long run.

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense. I've had this discussion with an AD I'm not a customer of when I asked about either discounts on available models or access to buy difficult to source models. As much as it makes sense to reward customer loyalty, it can diminish the ability to gain new customers who are serious, qualified buyers new to the area.

Source a rubber strap and you get the best of both words. Some might say this is poseur move or blasphemous but it is an option to consider. Chadri did this and posted pics of a black SS daytona C and it looked pretty awesome.
I don’t think I could sell my SS Daytona, albeit I just got it.

I have an Oysterflex.....also have a Super Jubilee. The White D500 is gorgeous....I'll probably just slow down, wait a while and enjoy it.

Not sure about all this availability on the 519 people are commenting on. No one seems to has this reference in stock at any of the ADs I’m in contact with and they’re fairly large ADs. I’ve actually tiled them all I’m interested in one and have been told there is a waitlist even for this reference. When the call comes, I’ll see what the offer is but it should be better than what dsw has one for ($27.5k). It’ll be an awesome placeholder until the white d500 I’m waiting for.
