what is this? not sure

Hi
During my Trip to Indo, visited one of the old antique stores and saw this
and lo and behold,. was told by the owner its a Rolex.

He said he was offered $400k and refused.
I told him i wanted to look at it. It looked, dont know, legit, i dont know
he said it was given to him as a gift years ago by a Swiss friend

anyone know what this is?
or should I show to an antique dealer?

whatever it is I wouldn't spend 400 000 rups let alone 400 000USD, I could make a better watch myself!!

I would say that perhaps he should have taken the $400k.

Wilsdorf established Rolex in 1905, 100 years after the caseback date.

Hahaha
Yea...he did take it out of the safe and it looked well, somewhat nice..
But I was confused about the dates and now I know.
He should have taken the $300k.
He said he was hoping to sell it before he dies...I doubt he will even sell it for 50000 rp
